Eyelet Cable Hat

posted by: Amy Small in daisy chain, hat patterns, swirl

Today we introduce another pretty hat into our pattern family. The Eyelet Cable Hat, designed by Cheryl Kubat, became one of my favorites the minute I laid eyes on it. I especially love the combination of the cable brim with the open eyelet hat body and the slouchy, relaxed shape. I'm still a beginner at cabling and this hat was a nice way to practice them without committing to a more daunting project. This pattern will work perfectly with either our Daisy Chain or Swirl yarns. Happy knitting! Pattern available here. Our hats photographed below are knit up in the new Swirl colors, Colbalt Heather and Icey Blue.

TNNA Recap!

posted by: Amy Small in swirl, tradeshows, wildflower

I returned last Tuesday from 5 nights in Phoenix, AZ for the winter TNNA show. It is always such a blast catching up with old friends and meeting new people in the industry. I also loved our booth set up this year, a corner, which was awesome.

We released a new yarn at this show, called Wildflower Drifter, which is similar to our Wildflower yarn but embellished with pom poms and tassels! I was so happy to see a positive response to this new yarn from store owners. We also released 4 new colors of Swirl, one of my favorites. All of these will be available in a few short weeks. Pics below of our booth and the new yarns.

Wildflower Drifter in Navy.

New Pattern ~ The Relaxed Rolled Edge Beanie

posted by: Amy Small in daisy chain, hat patterns, swirl

I am often asked what can I make with 1 skein of our yarn by our customers? In turn, I'm always challenging our designers to come up with patterns that answer that question. This adorable hat pattern by Tori Kendrew does just that. You'll just need 1 skein of either our Daisy Chain or Swirl yarns to make it. I love the rolled edge detail and slouchy fit.  The pattern is super simple and does a wonderful job of letting our handspun yarn show off. Hope you enjoy it as much as us! Pattern available here. This hat is shown in color Chili Pepper.
