Shipping Policy
Shipping costs are determined by the weight and dimensions of the package. For domestic US orders, USPS Ground Advantage shipping costs may be slightly less than USPS Priority because the transit times are often longer. For international orders, we strongly advise selecting the shipping cost that includes the pre-payment of duties and tax (DDP). We provide this option as the quickest and safest way for international orders to reach their destination without delay.
All shipping times listed below are estimates, and could take longer.
Please note: In addition to the shipping times quoted below, all physical orders (domestic and international) will experience processing times of 1-3 business days (3-7 business days during busy seasons) during which our warehouse will prepare your order for shipment. After the processing window, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking information to indicate that your order has left our warehouse.
Domestic US - Physical Product
Domestic orders to the United States are given the option to select between two shipping services at checkout:
1. USPS Priority: 1-3 business days
2. USPS Ground Advantage: 3-5 business days
UPS Ground is only available for wholesale shipping and should not be selected otherwise. If UPS Ground is selected for a non-wholesale order, the order will be shipped with either USPS option above.
International (all countries outside of the United States) - Physical Product (see special note about physical product shipments to the UK below)
International orders are shipped via APC. Once international orders arrive at their destination country, they will enter the local postal service. There are two options for international shipping at checkout:
1. APC Priority DDP with Delivery Confirmation: 7-10+ business days This option includes the pre-payment of duties and taxes along with shipping charges. We strongly suggest all international orders select DDP during checkout.*
2. APC Priority DDU with Delivery Confirmation: 7-10+ business days This option will add shipping only charges to your order and will quote an estimate of the duty and tax that will be charged when the package reaches the destination country. These quotes are not guaranteed, and the fees are often much higher when the package is assessed by customs in the destination country. We are not responsible for any misquotes or misclassifications of packages, as this is solely determined at the destination. Choosing this option (DDU) asserts that you will be responsible for, and agree to pay, any and all additional charges for the package to be released to you.*
* We do not provide any refund (including the price of goods and shipping) for orders that are returned due to refusal to pay duty and tax once the order has been shipped. These items do not get returned to us, therefore no refund can be provided.
Physical product shipments to the UK: In order to checkout on our website, customers in the UK must have a cart greater to or equal to £135 (approx $175 USD) for shipping rates to appear.

Domestic & International Digital Goods Delivery
Digital goods include PDF patterns and Knit University Classes.
PDF Patterns
Every Knit Collage pattern available for purchase on our website will arrive as a digital download. We do not sell physical PDF patterns that require shipping. After checking out with a PDF pattern, you will receive two emails - an immediate order confirmation email detailing the contents of your order (digital and physical, where applicable); and an additional email anywhere from 1-10 minutes later containing a link for you to click in order to access your digital file via web browser. From the web browser, you may save as a digital PDF to your device, or print a physical copy.
Knit University Classes
Knit University Classes are hosted on Teachable. Upon purchasing a Knit University Class, you will receive three emails - an immediate order confirmation email detailing the contents of your order (digital and physical, where applicable); an email containing an "Access Course" button that will direct you to Teachable; and an additional email anywhere from 1-10 minutes later containing a link for you to click in order to access your digital file via web browser. All Knit University Classes also contain the digital PDF pattern in the first section of the course.
If you already have a Teachable account with us, your Knit University Class may just appear in your Teachable library. If you have never set up a Teachable account with us, follow the "Access Course" button in the email and register for an account with the email address you used to purchase the class on our website. Once you create the account and login, you will see the class in your Teachable library.
