The High Peak Poncho

Heather Dixon, the designer behind Army of Knitters, has created another stunner using our yarn. The High Peak Poncho combines Be Sweet's brushed mohair & 1 skein of our Pixie Dust yarn used as a trim detail. The photos are gorgeous and what a lovely floaty poncho. Added bonus- the needle size used is 17, so it knits up quickly. This is on my Christmas gift list- never to early to start right?! Be sure to check out her pattern in more detail on Ravelry.

New Kids Patterns by Aimee Alexander

This past June, I had the pleasure of meeting the ladies who run Knit 'n Needle in Whitefish, Montana. They were incredibly friendly and excited to get their hands on Knit Collage yarns. Now, I think everyone from Montana is wonderful! I don't think anyone can prove me wrong on this point :)

The owner, Aimee Alexander, has created 2 adorable kids patterns from our yarns that I'm excited to share.  We have very few kids knit designs, so these come as much welcome additions to the Knit Collage pattern library. Aimee designed the Clouds Rest Pixie Hat and the Clouds Rest Capelet, both available as PDF downloads on Ravelry. Both also use 2 skeins of our Daisy Chain or Gypsy Garden yarns.  I will be casting on ASAP!

The Dew Drop Cowl in Maharani Silk

A few weeks ago, pattern designer Susan Sheby & I were thinking about new summery patterns to do in our silk yarn.  She came across the Dew Drop Cowl pattern on Ravelry and we both knew right away that this would work beautifully in our Maharani Silk. Susan whipped it up in colorway Navy Pop, which might be my favorite. The loose gauge and open hole-y stitch make this an ideal summer accessory! Also, did I mention this pattern is free and only takes 1 skein of Maharani Silk? BONUS!
