Finish It February Challenge ~ 2023
If you have knitting, crochet, weaving or really any creative projects that have been sitting in your home for too long unfinished, then I invite you to join me on the Finish It February challenge I'm hosting. This challenge is all about actually finishing those lingering WIPs (work in progress projects) so that you can wear and enjoy them! We'll use the group effort to help motivate all of us to finish them, once and for all! This is just the push I need to complete my 2 lingering projects. So here is how to get involved:
1. Join our Facebook group - it's a private group where outsiders will be able to see what we're about but not any of the posts. You should feel comfortable sharing your work here. We will accept everyone and if we notice any trolls, they'll be blocked.
2. Introduce yourself to the group! I have 4 questions pinned to the top of the page, including what projects you'd like to finish. The more pics the better here. I think it's safe to say, we all like visuals.
3. Join in on Instagram by sharing what you'd like to finish in a post or reel. Tag me at @knitcollage and with #FinishItFeb
That is that! Each week, I'll check in to see how everyone is doing. I hope that as well all get making, we'll just continually share our progress and cheer each other on. You don't need to be making with our yarns or patterns to join in. Any yarn and pattern is great. This challenge is open to really any crafting - knitting, crochet, weaving etc. The idea is just to create a fun community around our making and hold ourselves to the challenge of actually finishing! If you are in the middle of knitting any of our projects, of course we're there to help too. I hope to see you in the Facebook group or on IG. Just leave me a comment below if you have any questions. At the end we'll celebrate somehow.
