Hi guys! Behind the scenes here I've been working on the knitalong and prepping for next year, specifically new spring yarns and designs that I can't wait to share. During the fall knitalong, I REALLY caught the colorwork bug and I want to knit everything in colorwork now. It's so much fun and the possibilities are endless! With that in mind I came across these Purl Soho free patterns, called the Trio of Colorwork Hats. I whipped one up using our Spun Cloud yarn in Honeysuckle as the main color and our Wildflower yarn in color Petal as the contrast color. I love the way the printed fabric looks mixed together with the wooly yarn. I added in one of our faux fur poms too. I really want to design a sweater like this, potentially for next fall! The hat I knit is called the Fair Isle Ombre Hat and the pattern is available here.  I love how Purl mixed in the neon colors in their samples. That would be really fun to try too!
