Updated Fishnet Bandana Cowl Pattern

posted by: Amy Small in cowl & scarf patterns, wildflower

Today I posted a pretty little update to our Fishnet Bandana Cowl pattern. It turns out that our Wildflower Drifter yarn works perfectly in this pattern. This yarn is the embellished version of our cotton Wildflower yarn. Both yarns work beautifully in this pattern. In new pattern update, I decided to add braided ties, which make it a little more functional for keeping in place around your neck. I know what my go-to spring accessory will be, how about you?! Did I mention this knits up in about 2 hours on sir 35 needles? Yup, my kinda project! The pattern is available right here.

The Cast Away Cowl

posted by: Amy Small in cast away, cowl & scarf patterns

Last week, good friend and yarn shop owner, Patricia Scribner showed me a gorgeous cowl she knit up in our Cast Away yarn. Immediately I was obsessed. It's beautiful, functional and the best part is that is you only need one skein of yarn- woo hoo! I am ALWAYS on the look out for 1 skein patterns in our yarn.  Her pattern is called the Cast Away Cowl and is now available on Ravelry right here. I whipped one up last night in Cast Away color Natural Aura and have already started wearing it. It's definitely spruced up my winter coat that I am so sick of after wearing it everyday during this horrible winter we've been having in Boston.  Pics of my project below.

The Zig Zag Throw & Shawl Pattern

Barbara Wolff, who runs the German online yarn store Dibadu, came up with the most gorgeous of blankets using a mix of our yarns. Obsessed doesn't even come close to describing how I feel about this pattern.  I love it so much.  She has such an eye for color and the way she combined all of our yarns together is insanely beautiful!  Finally, after ogling this blanket since last March, the pattern is available as a PDF download on Ravlery right here. You'll see our Sister, Daisy Chain and Cast Away yarns all used together in the pattern.  Did I mention there's also a mini shawl pattern included too? Bonus! All photos are courtesy of Dibadu
