The Podcast is HERE!
After a ton of time working on this behind the scenes, my podcast if finally live! To say I'm excited is the understatement of the year! Let me tell you a little about it. The Collage Creative podcast is weekly interview show dedicated to uncovering the motivations, daily routines and practices of women who are living life on their own terms. They may do this through a business they’ve created or they may simply choose to live differently in some way. What I hope to learn is what gave them the courage to say the heck with it, I’m doing it my way. I’ll delve into their routines, habits, favorite books, podcasts etc. On the flip side, I’ll talk about the hard parts of doing what they do – like the failures they’ve gone through and the sacrifices they’ve made to live this way. Expect to hear from amazing ladies from the fiber and design world as well as small business owners local to Boston. I hope these conversations will inspire you to create your own happy and unique path, whatever that may be. I'll post a new episode each week.
In the first episode, I do something a little crazy and interview myself. I thought this would be a nice way to introduce you to me in a deeper way. I am still amazed that I've pressed publish on this because the part about my biggest failure is extremely raw and hard to talk about. I know this failure happened for good reason and has served as a wake up call for me but I'm embarrassed by it. Why did it have to happen this way still plays over in my mind. If listeners are interested, I may do more solo episodes where I answer different questions or riff of this idea of creative living. It would be awesome if you let me know your questions/comments/interests etc in the comments below. Here is the first episode. If you enjoy it, please subscribe in iTunes and leave me a review. Thank you! Tomorrow I'll dive into the details behind episode #2 with Beata Jezek of Hedgehog Fibers and on Thursday, expect the same for Elsie Goodwin of Reform Fibers.
