What better way to kick off a new year than knitting in community? It was such a hit last year that we've decided to run a new Solstice Challenge to cheer in 2025! Join us for this ten day event by grabbing your kit now, or diving through your stash to get ready to cast on with us on January 1st, 2025.

You can participate in this year's Solstice Challenge by knitting either the Solstice Hug pattern from 2024 or the new Solstice Collared Dickie pattern (or both, because, why not?!) 

What you get as part of this challenge:

• An easy-to follow video course on how to knit both the Solstice Collared Dickie pattern and the Solstice Hug pattern from start to finish. You just need to know the very basic knit and purl stitches to join in!
• Techniques you’ll learn (vary slightly depending on pattern): swatching in the round, knitting in the round with magic loop, German short rows, crochet tubular cast on, sewn bind off in the round, rib knitting, needle felting ends + more.
• Access to our app where we will host the Solstice Knitting Challenge ~ community, videos, patterns, zoom calendar + links ~ all in one place!
• A downloadable workbook with the patterns and our best tips and resources for knitting success.
• Daily live zoom sessions with me, your teacher, and the Knit Collage coaches, Cheryl Kubat and Pia Thadani to help answer in-the-moment questions.
• Technical support in our app to answer all of your questions.
• A welcoming, energetic, and kind community of members to hold you accountable and keep you motivated to actually complete your project.
• Finish with a closing celebration party and community fashion show.
