Meet the Magical Snowflake Hat pattern, our latest one skein beauty. Knit on size US 36's needles, this incredibly warm hat will knit up in just a few hours. AND it sure packs a style statement punch! Top it off with our faux fur poms for added winter magic. This hat is knit in our chunkiest Wanderlust yarn too. It's cozy beyond belief.
Skill Level: Intermediate Knitter
Materials:
1 skein Wanderlust yarn (30 yds/200g) shown in color Greyfitti
Three faux fur pom poms available here
Needle Size: US 36 (20mm) dpns or long circular needles to work magic loop method, or size needed to obtain gauge
Size: One size fits average female head (22" in circumference)
Gauge: 4 sts x 5.25 rows = 4 inches in stockinette stitch
A Note about Gauge: This hat is knit in a rather tight gauge, so be sure to choose the correct size needles for your knitting style! In addition to producing the best fit, gauge is particularly important in this case because this pattern will use all 30 yards of the yarn. If you knit a swatch, you will have to reuse that yarn for the hat.
