Frequently asked questions about our Creative Knitters Membership

 

  1. What is the Creative Knitters Membership?

It’s part personalized coaching, part learning through live events with expert teachers - all within an inclusive, welcoming community. We make your journey easier! You'll learn new techniques that may have scared you, approach your making with confidence, and finish more projects as painlessly as possible. It's a lot of fun and wildly creative too!

 

  1. How do I join?

We open the Creative Knitters Membership for public enrollment once a year, typically at the beginning of the year. If you’d like to join the waitlist to be the first to know when public enrollment is open, send us an email at hello@knitcollage.com and we’ll add you to the list!

After our knitalongs and challenges, we offer participants the opportunity to continue their learning through community in the Creative Knitters membership. We do knitalongs in the spring and fall (with private enrollment to the membership in the summer and winter for participants), and 1-2 challenges a year. 

 

  1. Can I cancel at any time?

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time, we just ask that you give us a 30 day notice.

Please note that if you were a member at the time when we had a loyalty point program tied to the membership, any unused loyalty points accrued during active membership expire within 6 months or on 12/31/2026 , whichever date comes first, and are unable to be redeemed beyond that timeframe. Please see footnote about our former loyalty point program for additional details.

 

  1. What is the Creative Knitters Loyalty Program?

Beginning March 1, 2026, active Creative Knitters members will receive 10% off on all product purchases made online at www.knitcollage.com. The 10% discount is automatically applied at checkout for all active members, so you must sign into your website account before checking out. 

The 10% discount cannot be applied retroactively for purchases made before a member had an active subscription. The 10% discount ends on the date of membership cancellation and/or billing interruption. 

* Membership subscription, CK Yarn design skeins and gift card purchases are excluded from the 10% off sitewide discount.

 

  1. Can I pause my membership?

At this time, memberships cannot be paused. If you would like to cancel your membership, you can re-enroll at any time at the current membership rate. The 10% sitewide discount ends on the day of membership cancellation.

For memberships that included loyalty points, membership cancellations will set remaining loyalty points to expire in 6 months from the time of cancellation, or on 12/31/2026, whichever date comes first. Unused loyalty points cannot be recovered through re-enrollment.


Footnote: Loyalty Points Have Been Sunset as of February 28, 2026

Memberships that began prior to February 2026 were enrolled in our former loyalty program in which every month of an active membership subscription, members received $10 in loyalty points that could be used on our website. The program that managed point attribution and usage on our website stopped working and the loyalty program was reimagined to be a sitewide 10% off discount for active members beginning March 1st, 2026. 

Active members with loyalty point balances can continue to use their loyalty points through February 28, 2027 - one year from the date in which the program was sunset. Any unused loyalty points will expire on March 1st, 2027, and will not be able to be redeemed from that date forward. To use previously accrued loyalty points, please contact hello@knitcollage.com.

Upon membership cancellation, loyalty points expire within 6 months or on 12/31/2026, whichever date comes first. Loyalty points can only be used for items on our website knitcollage.com, and they have no cash value outside of our website. Loyalty points cannot be transferred or gifted. The last date to use loyalty points is February 28, 2027.
