Log Cabin Sweater Kit
$308.00
Inspired by the traditional quilting technique, the Log Cabin Sweater is a modular, drop shoulder sweater created by building blocks of knitted fabric off of previous blocks. The front of the sweater is worked from the center out and is based on a log cabin design, whereas the back involves working back and forth from the bottom up, joining with the sides of the front as you go. Sleeves are worked in the round with simple striping and a tapered shape, and an I-cord is worked along the neckline, body edge, and sleeve cuffs.

Gauge:
10 sts and 14 rows = 5” / 12.5 cm in Stockinette Stitch, steam blocked
Note: Due to the log cabin construction, matching both stitch and row gauge is important. If your row gauge differs from the pattern’s row gauge, you may need to make adjustments in the number of rows worked for each block to get the same finished sizes after blocking

Where anything feels possible
Meet the Spinners
Over the course of the last 13 years, we've created our own little cottage industry within the Indian economy where 16 Indian women create our yarns! There’s just so much that goes into each and every skein and none of it would be possible without this team, right here, making it all happen. One of my favorite things about being there is that anything feels possible. Read more on the blog: India Team + Trip Recap.
