Welcome to the Fall 2025 Knitalong! Our knitalongs are a wonderful way to learn and grow in new ways. We accomplish this through in depth video classes that match the exact pattern you're working on, around the clock support from our expert coaches and accountability and connection from other creativity loving makers. It's about learning new things, diving deep into our most creative selves and of course, having a lot of fun along the way too!

The Fall 2025 knitalong will be hosted entirely on our app, which means everything is available in one, easy to navigate space. If you have yarn or want to source yarn locally, you can join the knitalong with the virtual experience here

Watch the videos below to learn what sets them apart in detail.

About the Pattern:

The Daisy Pillow is pure 60’s flower power happiness! Don’t let the unconventional shape fool you. With its rhythmic increases and decreases, the Daisy Pillow is very beginner friendly. Sister and/or Spun Cloud is worked in the round to create a cute little bloom that will brighten your home year-round. No watering required!

Here's what you can expect in our knitalong:

~ Exclusive - These patterns will be exclusive to KAL participants for about 6 to 12 months. You will have access to all 8 KAL patterns and video tutorials through our Knit Collage app.

~ Round the clock help - Myself and the Knit Collage team are here to help you make your project a total success! Join Zoom sessions with our teachers and chat with everyone in the community via the Community section in our app.

~  Video tutorials for our Knitting 101 course. If you're newer to knitting, these will be super helpful!

~ Mindfulness workshops ~ this season we will have a couple of dedicated zooms that will tap into the idea of waking up your creative, inner artist as well as relaxation through a simple restorative yoga class designed for everyone.

Kits will be available for one week only. You'll be able to purchase them from October 15-October 22, 2025. After that, the patterns will not be available for another 6 to 12 months.

What comes in your kit:

* The yarn needed to complete this project, including 3 skeins of Spun Cloud or Sister yarn (2 skeins of a main color and 1 skein of a contrasting color). The sample is knit up in the color way, Soft Ivory Sister (MC) / Honeysuckle Spun Cloud (CC)

* Thoughtful and fun packaging!

* Knitalong Guide with the pattern and all the info and resources you'll need to be successful with your project. You will receive the Welcome Guide and KAL Schedule as a PDF download within the app. The patterns for the KAL designs and greatest hits will available and accessible on November 2nd, our official cast on day, not at the time of purchase.

* Muslin pouch, tapestry needle, 6 Cocoknits stitch markers, a knitter's motto iridescent sticker, a tape measure and a pretty embellished ribbon from my India travels tying it all together.

What's not included:

* Needles - if you'd like these added to your kit, click here to add to your cart.

* 18" round pillow insert, click here for suggestions

Pattern details:

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate Knitter

Needle Size:

Size US 15 (10mm) 40" / 100 cm circular needles for magic loop (or shorter if desired)

Size US 15 (10 mm) double-pointed needles (optional - if you use the magic loop technique then you will not need these)

Size US M-13 (9 mm) crochet hook for seaming your pillow sides together

Adjust needle / hook sizes as necessary to match gauge. Note that if you adjust your needle size, the crochet hook should be approx. 1 mm smaller than the knitting needle when gauge is met.

Finished Measurements:

18” / 46 cm diameter

Gauge:

9 sts and 13 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked flat, unblocked

Materials:

Main Color (MC petals):  2 skeins of Spun Cloud or Sister (100% Wool, approx 100 yds / 200 g)

Contrast Color (CC center):  1 skein of Spun Cloud or Sister (100% Wool, approx 100 yds / 200 g)

*** Many Knit Collage yarns will work for this pillow as long as you match gauge. Our mixed stripe version is knit using a Mini Skein Kit. These yarns will work: Dreamland, Daisy ChainWildflower, Cast Away, any of the Mini Skein Sampler Kits. We do not suggest our super bulky yarns Wanderlust or Pixie Dust.

*** Our samples are shown in these color combinations: Soft Ivory Sister (MC) / Honeysuckle Spun Cloud (CC), Dusty Pink Sister (MC) / Soft Ivory Sister (CC) and for the mixed stripe version - Love Cloud Spun Could (MC) / Daisy Chain (CC) - for one side of the pillow and Natural Mini Kit (MC) / Daisy Chain (CC) for the other side.

Where anything feels possible

Meet the Spinners

Over the course of the last 13 years, we've created our own little cottage industry within the Indian economy where 16 Indian women create our yarns! There’s just so much that goes into each and every skein and none of it would be possible without this team, right here, making it all happen. One of my favorite things about being there is that anything feels possible. Read more on the blog: India Team + Trip Recap.
