Inspired by patchwork quilts made in the villages of Pakistan using upcycled fabric from old clothes and saris, this scarf makes the most of the textural elements of Knit Collage yarn. It is constructed from individual bias squares that are seamed together and invites you to play with colors any which way you wish.

Main Colors (MC): Spun Cloud (100% wool; approx. 100 yds (92 m) / 200 g)
MC1 - 1 skein, shown in Sedona
MC2 - 1 skein, shown in Bubble Gum Candy Contrast Color(s) (CC):
1 Wildflower Mini Skein Kit [(100% cotton; approx. 85 yds (78 m) / 100 g) - 5 mini skeins of yarn included per kit, 17 yds (16 m) / skein] shown in Misty Day
CC1: Hibiscus Flower; CC2: Rose Darling; CC3: Tribal; CC4: Midnight Amber; CC5: Dusty Fleur

Needle Size:
Size US 17 (12 mm), straight or 16” / 40 cm (or longer) circular needles, or size needed to obtain gauge
Size US N (10mm) crochet hook (or 2mm smaller than needles) for edging
Note: See Gauge for adjusting needle/hook sizes.
Gauge:
8 sts = 4.25” / 10.5 cm and 15 rows = 4” / 10 cm in Garter Stitch Worked Flat (see Pattern Notes), steam blocked Gauge is not critical for this design but will affect yarn usage and the finished size of your scarf.
Note: Adjust needle size as needed to achieve gauge. Then use a crochet hook approximately 2mm smaller than needles.
Finished Size:
Length (with edging) - 78” / 195 cm
Width (with edging) - 8” / 20 cm
Note: Scarf will stretch lengthwise with wear.
