Watch plaid come to life before your eyes while you work this simple yet intricate, fall feeling design. In this scarf, a combination of reverse stockinette and slipped stitches create a plaid pattern on the right side and a striped pattern on the wrong side. An integrated I-cord edge is worked along both scarf side edges to create a smooth slipped stitch edge. Once you get through one repeat of the pattern, you'll be hooked!

Size US 17 (12.75 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle or flat needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Length (without tassels): 64” / 162.5 cm

Gauge: 7 sts and 11 rows = 4” / 10 cm in plaid stitch pattern worked flat, unblocked

7.5 sts and 11.5 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked flat, blocked
