I have always wanted to try a wave colorwork pattern in a design and finally, here we are! The Sea Love Beanie is a simple hat worked from the bottom up in the round with a wave colorwork motif. The colorwork is perfect for beginners and multiple colors can be used as desired. This beanie is super quick to make and fun to wear!

Pattern Details:

Skill Level: Beginner Knitter

Materials:

Main Color (MC): 1 skein Spun Cloud (100% wool /100 yds (91 m) / 200g)

Contrast Colors (CCs): 1 Mini Skein Sampler Kit (approx. 85 yds (78 m) / 164-170 g- 5 mini skeins of yarn included per kit, 17 yds (16 m) / skein) OR 2 mini skeins in any of the following yarns: Daisy Chain, Cast Away, Dreamland, Spun Cloud or Wildflower

**Please note any modifications to size or length may require additional yarn.**

Pom pom maker (3" / 8.5 cm) or square piece of sturdy cardboard (4" / 10 cm)

Scrap yarn for securing pom pom (8" / 20 cm)

Stitch marker (1)

Tapestry needle

Needle Size:

Size US 15 (10 mm) 16" / 40 cm circular needles

Size US 17 (12.75 mm) 16" / 40 cm circular needles for working magic loop (or additional needles of the same size for working in a small circumference)

Gauge:

7.5 sts and 10 rows = 4" / 10 cm in stockinette stitch worked flat, steam blocked

Size: 

Circumference- 15" /37.5 cm

Height - 8.5" / 21.5 cm
