Swirly Felted Coasters Pattern
Looking for a way to put those incredibly squishy and delicious Knit Collage wool scraps to use? Felted coasters are the perfect project! They are super easy and therapeutic to make and these Swirly Felted Coasters also make a wonderful hostess or housewarming gift for someone special (yourself included)! Mix and match yarns for a colorful spectrum, or go uniform for a more classic feel. The best part is that if you are an iced drink lover, these wool coasters will absorb any condensation droplets your glass accumulates.

Note: If using a yarn with non-wool flowers and ribbons, these will need to be removed.
For the samples shown, a mix of the following yarns were used: Daisy Chain in Grand Prismatic and Natural Aura, Dreamland in Daisy Summer, Spun Cloud in French Vanilla and Lavender Dust, and Castaway in Prism.
Recommended to use size 36-46 - The finer the needles, the smoother the wool will become. While either a single or multi-needle holder can be used, you may find the single needle holder easier to use and to replace the needle if it breaks.
Foam felting pad or Felting Mat (9 x 9” / 23 x 23 cm foam felting pad was used)
Leather finger protectors, optional
