Spring Fling Cardi Pattern

The Spring Fling Cardi pattern mixes stripes and lace into a beautifully unique design! You'll start at the top neck and knit down, striping in our fun mini skein kits as you go. After the bust, we switch to a simple scalloped lace pattern. The pattern has two sleeve options for you to choose from: short sleeve, as shown here, and 3/4 flared sleeves. This is fun pattern to try if lace has intimidated you in the past and the perfect Spring piece to add to your hand knit wardrobe.

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate Knitter
Needle Size:
US 17 (12.75 mm) 32” / 80 cm circular needle for magic loop method or additional needles of the same size for your preferred method of small circumference knitting Size N/US 15 (10 mm) crochet hook for edging.
Sizes: 1 (2, 3, 4, 5)[6, 7, 8, 9]
Finished Measurements:
32 (34, 36, 38.5, 42.5, 46)[49, 53.5, 57.5, 63, 66]” / 81.5 (86.5, 91.5, 98, 108, 117)[124.5, 136, 146, 160, 167.5] cm bust circumference.
Fit Note: Recommended to be worn with 0-2” / 0-5 cm of positive ease. French Vanilla sample is shown in a size 2 on a 32” / 80 cm bust with 2” / 5 cm of positive ease, and Lavender Dust sample is shown in a size 2 on a 32” / 80 cm bust, as well as in a size 5 on a 40” / 80 cm bust both with 2” / 5 cm of positive ease.
Gauge: 7.5 sts and 11.5 rows = 4” / 10 cm in stockinette st worked flat using Spun Cloud (MC), taken after blocking.
