Be Mine Striped Sweater Pattern

The Be Mine sweater is great for anyone who wants to try knitting a sweater for the first time or who loves a quick knit. In this version of the pattern, you have to option to mix in one of our mini skein sampler kits to make this STRIPED! We love mixing our yarns together to give them an artistic, mixed material feeling. This sweater is that idea at it's best! In the dark blue sample shown here we've mixed 3 skeins of Spun Cloud with 1 mini sampler kit in Foggy Blue. The other two samples shown are a mix of many of our yarns knit all together, which you could also do. In those sweaters we've mixed these yarns together: Cast Away, Spun Cloud, Sister, Daisy Chain, Dreamland and Sister.
This sweater comes in 2 length options - cropped (16" body length) and long (22" body length) and is knit sideways! There are just 2 seams - all along the underarm and side seam.
Pattern details:
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate Knitter
Needle Size: Size US 13 (or 9mm) straight needles for rib cuffs and 17 (or 12mm) 40" long circular needles for the sweater body
Finished Measurements:
Shorter version:
Body length from center back edge down: 16"
Circumference at bottom opening: 34"
Longer version:
Body length from center back edge down: 22"
Circumference at bottom opening: 38"
Materials:
For the striped versions: 3 skeins of Spun Cloud yarn and 1 mini skein sampler kit
For cropped option: 3 skeins of Spun Cloud yarn
For the longer option: 4 skeins of Spun Cloud for the longer version.
