The Sunshine Daydream Cardi Pattern

posted by: Amy Small in sweaters & tops patterns, wildflower

I'm so happy to release a new pattern today. We are always asked, what can we knit with your yarns? Today, another answer ~ this pretty cardigan!

The Sunshine Daydream Cardi knits up in our Wildflower cotton yarn in an open, relaxed stitch, making it perfect for early fall days. The fabric created has ample elasticity and drape, making this design suitable for all types of bodies.  The pattern is knit flat and seamed along the sides and arms to produce an oversized, boxy shape we can't get enough of.

We also love the way this design highlights this beautiful yarn. This cardi is knit loosely on size 19 needles which allows you to see the paisley and flower prints clearly on the yarn in your finished garment. Your cardi will truly be a unique creation garnering many a compliment! We knit ours in color Gardenia.

Share your knits with #knitcollage

Seeing our yarns out in the wild is the most amazing thing as a business owner. Through instagram and our hashtag #knitcollage, I've discovered beautiful knits and projects that incorporate them. One of my favorite posts is the yarn just being knit with wherever you happen to be. I get a glimpse into how and what you're knitting and I am obsessed with it.  When I started this company, I never thought in a million years that the yarns would make it to all these farfetched places and that they would inspire people to create such beautiful things. Working alone on my business, it's easy to feel like I'm slaving away without much feedback but seeing all these gorgeous projects makes me feel connected to this awesome community of makers in a way that I never have before. I usually check this tag about 100 times a day! So, please tag us on Instagram at #knitcollage so we can see where our yarn takes you. I've added a new page to our site called SHARE YOUR KNITS, this will link up to our instagram page with all #knitcollage tags. Yup, pretty excited about that!  Below I've made a few collages of instagram posts featuring our yarns, insanely inspiring.

Columbus TNNA Recap

posted by: Amy Small in cast away, tradeshows, wildflower

Monday night I returned from an amazing time in Columbus for the TNNA yarn tradeshow. It was SO much fun and SO exhausting! I was lucky enough to have our pattern designer Susan Sheby with me this time. She was a huge help.  The new yarns were received well- especially the new Wildflower Drifter yarn.  I continue to be surprised at how well our Cast Away does- by far our best seller right now! I think it appeals to that a more natural girl as well as more sparkle loving girls too.  We scooped up orders from a slew of new yarn shops across the country. Here are some pics from the epic weekend.
