Spring Stitching - Our Prettiest Sweater YET!

posted by: Amy Small in sweaters & tops patterns, wildflower

Spring knitting to us means cotton yarn, airy stitches and loose fitting silhouettes. Our latest pattern, the Dreamy Fields Sweater incorporates them all. Give this pattern a try and dress yourself in happy hand knits all spring long!  This design knits up in our super soft and lightweight cotton Wildflower yarn in a relaxed dolman sleeve silhouette.

We give you two options to knit for this pattern- a shorter version with a rib cuff (option A, knit in the ivory color war Gardenia) and a more boyfriend, oversized version with a stockinette cuff (option B, knit in Pine Green). Both versions feature an open boatneck and slouchy fit.

Pattern & yarn details here.

Wildflower Peasant Tunic

posted by: Amy Small in sweaters & tops patterns, wildflower

Earlier in the summer, I started to notice sleeveless cowl silhouettes all over the web ~ like here and here ~ and I fell in love! I knew we needed our own version with a Knit Collage twist. With that in mind, resident designer Cheryl Kubat created the Wildflower Peasant Tunic for us.

This pattern knits up in our super soft cotton Wildflower Yarn that is printed with tiny paisley and flower designs. The design highlights these unique yarn details through knitting in an open garter stitch on largish needles, size US 15. We especially love the trapeze-y tunic silhouette with tiny slits at the side seams. We knit our sample in color Scarlet Begonia.  Pattern available here
