Spring 2026 Design Survey

Spring 2026 Design Survey

I'm so excited to share the style options for our upcoming spring knitalong, which will be kicking off at the end of April! These knitalongs (KALs) are truly the highlight of our year. As a small but mighty team, we spend months dreaming up and designing patterns that we hope will spark creativity and inspire you to make something special.

During our KALs, we knit and crochet together in community, cheer each other on, learn new techniques, and watch our projects and skills grow with every stitch. By the end, the goal is for you to have a finished piece that you adore and can treasure for years to come.

The final designs are chosen by popular vote, so this is your chance to have your voice heard!

You’ll find more photos and details about each design below. Please feel free to share with friends too, the more votes the merrier!

Help us make this the best KAL yet and cast your vote at the link below!

Option 1 ~ Wildflower Trellis Sweater by Sue Hislop and Amy Small

Knit in Spun Cloud and Wild Flower Minis

Chunky cables climb a trellis of airy, eyelet lace in this unique pullover design, combining bold structure with effortless drape. The all-over, repeating pattern is easy to memorize and works up quickly, making it as fun to stitch as it is to wear. Drop-shoulder construction gives it an easy, relaxed fit. Choose sleeves or go sleeveless, add optional crochet or i-cord edgings, and finish with optional embellishments to transform this versatile design into a one-of-a kind statement sweater!

Option 2 ~ Livin Tee by Sue Hislop and Amy Small

Knit in Spun Cloud Light

This fitted, flattering tee is a departure from many of our other patterns in a fresh and exciting way. The Tee is knit from the top down in our lightest weight yarn, and the ribbed fabric hugs the body, offering an interesting visual texture alongside the stripes. Capped sleeve complete the look for a modern tee with a vintage feel.

Option 3 ~ KaleidoWave Sweater by Sue Hislop and Amy Small
Knit in Mixtape yarn
The simple boxy construction of this drop shoulder, boat neck design allows the funky feather and fan lace stitch pattern to be the star of the show. Two colors of Mixtape yarn alternate throughout for maximum color play, but it would also look amazing in just one colorway of Mixtape.

Option 4 ~ The Plaid Saturday Sweater by Cheryl Kubat
Knit in Spun Cloud and mixed minis
We've re-envisioned a beloved pattern, the Saturday Sweater, as a funky, plaid masterpiece. The silhouette is simple yet classic which means lots of room for you to play with yarn mixing and color placement. The sweater is knit striped and the plaid details are added after the fact using surface crochet.

Option 5 ~ The Plaid Pillow by Cheryl Kubat
Knit in Spun Cloud and Mixed Minis
This pillow option combines motifs from two of Cheryl's previous designs, the Plaid Saturday sweater and the Wandering Vines cardi, to create a blank canvas for surface crochet embellishments and your imagination to run wild.

Option 6 ~ Eventide Shawl by Ksenia Naidyon
Knit in Serenity boucle and Mixtape yarn
In this feather and fan shawl design, soft, undulating stitch patterns echo the movement of water. Alternating the solid, soft boucle yarn with pops of the bolder, vibrant Mixtape adds visual interest and makes for an exciting, one-more-row kind of knit.

Option 7 ~ Prismatic Tile Top by Jen Geigley
Knit in Spun Cloud
Bright, graphic, and endlessly wearable, this colorwork vest is designed to let bold stitches take center stage. With a relaxed fit, cropped proportions, and a classic crew neckline finished with simple ribbing. It's the perfect canvas for playful colorwork and statement yarns. This vest is an approachable, modern piece that invites creativity and makes colorwork feel easy and fun. The vest is worked from the bottom up in the round, and then worked flat from the underarms to the shoulders.

Option 8 ~ Muscle Tee by Jen Geigley
Knit in Spun Cloud with optional Wildflower embroidery
This versatile pullover features a cropped, relaxed fit and crew neckline with ribbed edging. It's awesome as a solid, but also makes for a great canvas to explore the optional wildflower embroidery. This is sure to be a cool, modern, staple piece in your wardrobe.

Option 9 ~ Kaleidoscope Pet Sweater by Laurel Gervitz
Knit in Spun Cloud and Mixed Minis
Adorn your pup with a Kaleidoscope Sweater! The Kaleidoscope Pet Sweater is a great beginner sweater and a fun way to learn basic sweater-shaping techniques on a smaller scale. It is also a fast and satisfying project for a more advanced knitter. Worked from the top down, seamlessly in the round in stockinette stitch, this yoke-style sweater is easy to customize while mixing different yarns to create a fun and colorful pet accessory.
