Hi there! If you are new here, my name is Amy Small and I am the founder of Knit Collage. Welcome! Next week, we kick off a new iteration of our mini making challenge, where as a community we will crochet the Frolic Flower Shawl over the course of 2 weeks together. Here are the yarn, gauge and sizing details if you know you'd like to go with the virtual option and want to source (or maybe spin?!) yarn on your own.

Skill Level: Beginner
Needle Size:
Size N/P / US 15 (10 mm) crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge.
Sizes: One Size
Finished Measurements:
Shawl: 59” / 150 cm length; 27” / 68.5 cm depth at center
Scarf: 111.5” / 283 cm length; 8”/ 20 cm width at widest point
Gauge:
Check gauge by making any one of the flowers. Measure your flower’s diameter from point to point across the center. The Marigold Flower is the easiest to measure accurately because it has a more solid outer edge.
- Marigold Flower: 8”/ 20 cm
- Poppy Flower: 7” / 17.5 cm
- Daisy Flower: 5.5” / 14 cm
- Aster Flowers: 4” / 10 cm
Materials:
Main Colors (MCs): 3 skeins Waterfall (100% viscose, approx. 60 yds (55 m) / 70g)-These can be different colors or all 1 color
CC1: 1 skein Wildflower (100% cotton, approx. 60 yds (55 m) / 70 g)
CC2: 1 Wildflower Mini Skein Kit [(approx. 85 yds (78 m) / 100 g)-5 mini skeins of yarn included per kit, 17 yds (16 m) / skein]
