Intro to the Fall Knitalong ~ Part 1

Intro to the Fall Knitalong ~ Part 1

The fall knitalong is ALMOST HERE and I so hope you'll consider joining me! To say I'm excited is the understatement of the year. I put together a little intro video detailing what's in store - see below. There are FOUR style options this time which feels a little nuts but I couldn't let one go - you guys cast your votes and these four were all neck in neck.

Like last fall, this knitalong will have a creativity/inspiration twist - a special focus on how knitting and taking the time out for ourselves, makes us better - nothing preachy, just a little something to brighten your day as we knit together, learn new technical skills and form new friendships with likeminded makers.

I hope you'll consider joining! It will launch next week and combines my three loves - making, community and creativity. Photos of the four chosen styles above.  In the next video, I'll dive into the exact yarn, kit and pattern details in so much more detail. But I am so excited to share that the pullover sweater is a collaboration with Erin Barrett of Sunwoven Studios (!!!) and we have a colorwork sweater, which is all new for us. The shawl and bobble sweaters are patterns by the incredibly talented Annie of Boho Chic Fiber Co.  The other exciting and new element of this KAL (knitalong) will involve giving back to the community in India where we make our yarn - more details on that coming up as well. Let me know in the comments below if you're up for joining and if you have any questions for me. Feel free to email me at amy@knitcollage.com as well. Hope you're up for it!
