The Back Bay Poncho

Earlier this fall, I spent the day at a cute shop in Newpuryport, MA called A Loom with a View. The owner there introduced me to the gorgeous Back Bay Poncho pattern by Mac & Me. I love this pattern so much because it's an easy loose-fitting shape that will fit most body shapes. I'm still pretty new to knitting and I have a fear of spending oodles of time knitting a sweater design, only to find out after I'm done that the size is totally off. This pattern is a great way to ease into knitting garments. It gave me confidence enough to believe that I  could knit a sweater for my next project! I used our 4 skeins of our Sister yarn to knit each of these ponchos. The yarn is bulky but the pattern calls for chunky needles (size 15 circ's) so the overall poncho feels light and airy even though it's definitely warm and cozy as well. To check out our Ravelry project, click here.  I definitely recommend giving this pattern a try with our Sister yarn! AND did I mention it only took me a week to knit?!

This sample knit in Ruby Heather.
