Over the past few weeks I've been in touch with a fantastic new yarn store owner, Tavy Ronen, of The Yarn Co in NYC. She recently took over this legendary shop on the upper west side and created a modern space, brimming with creative energy. We are excited (and flattered!) to be one of the yarn labels she regularly stocks in the shop. The shop also specializes in an eclectic mix of hand-painted indie yarns and fibers, upscale sewing, needlepoint and embroidery supplies. Her energy is contagious and it will undoubtedly inspire your creativity too.
The Yarn Co is hosting an official launch extravaganza the week of September 10th through the 17th. Lots of exciting designers (like Nicky Epstein) and yarn companies (think Art Yarns) will be there showcasing their designs and products. We're so thrilled that we've been asked to join in as well. I'll be at the shop on Tuesday, September 13th from 5:30 to 8pm for a little trunk show. I plan to talk a bit about us and show some of the samples I've made using the yarns...and of course I will have loads of yarn with me! If you're going to be in NYC on Sept 13th, please mark the date in your calenders and come see us.
