Daisy Chain Crochet Crown
Today we release another beautiful free pattern- hooray! This pattern was designed by crochet master extrodinaire, Tori Kendrew. It is a dainty crochet crown that works up perfectly in our Daisy Chain yarn. This crown would be perfect for a summer picnic or an outdoor music festival. This pattern comes in 2 sizes, child and adult. The closure is a braided tie so sizing is easily adjustable. Although we recommed Daisy Chain, this pattern would also work well in Rolling Stone, Gypsy Garden or Pixie Dust Mini. Pattern available here. Happy crocheting!

the gorgeous baby patterns & knits by Tricia Drake
I'm at a time in my life when many of my friends are having babies. It is a ton of fun and means lots of baby showers and handknit gifts. For baby pattern ideas, I turned to my good friend Tricia Drake, who wrote a beautiful book called Welcoming Home Baby the Handcrafted Way. Her book is full of the most adorable baby patterns and they are all knit on CHUNKY needles- HOORAY! Even though the knitting time is quick, you're not sacrificing on cuteness. These patterns are to die for cute and so creatively written. In her Etsy shop, she sells patterns for her designs as well as finished hats and baby accessories. Be sure to visit her Etsy shop here and check out the pics below of the hat I knit up and some of my favorite knits that she's done using our yarn. See if you can spot the Pixie Dust & Rolling Stone yarn! Tricky's photos are all done by Brooke Kelly Photography.

My hat! I knit up the Criss Cross Hat from her book in Sister yarn - soft grey heather & turquoise heather. Check out more details on Ravelry here.

Seriously does it get cuter than this hat? Insane!

The Little Martha Shawlette
I used to have a drapey crochet shawl back in college that I somehow lost track of. Since then, I have been dreaming about getting my hands on a similar one. Susan Sheby, our go-to pattern designer, has done just that and come up with this gorgeous pattern. This is the ideal coverup for a cool spring or summer evening. The glint of sparkle also adds a little bit of fancy shmancy and the picot edging is beautiful.
The pattern calls for 2 skeins of our Maharani Silk yarn. It’s a simple crochet pattern that will just take a little bit of time to get the hang of before you’re a pro. The pattern, which I named after my favorite Allman Brothers song, is now available on Ravelry for $3 here. I had so much fun taking pics of my sister wearing this last weekend. Boston is absolutely beautiful right now!
